This guide contains four sections.

• Background Information focuses on dictionaries and other resources in our reference collection to help you obtain an overview of your passage and understand the biblical context. 
• Word Study highlights a variety of resources to help you better understand the meaning of a particular word and its meaning in the original Greek.
• Finding Books will assist you in finding books which may contain information about your passage.
• Finding Journal Articles will assist you in finding journal articles about your specific passage.
