Finding Articles on Pathogens

The Jessie C. Eury Library has numerous journal databases. Several of our databases contain articles related to diseases and pathogens.

Keep in mind that search results vary considerably based on if you search for the name of the disease or the scientific name of the pathogen. For example, search results for "Strep Throat" and search results for "Streptococcus" were quite different.

Consumer Health Complete provides access to Clinical Reference Systems (CRS) which is the same print out a doctor provides describing a diagnosis and provides great information. There are numerous other patient-focused publications as well.

Indexes and provides abstracts for 850 journals in the area of nursing and medicine from 1990 to the present.
