Websites provide a wide range of information varying in quality. Websites are useful for locating current news, information from various organizations, and opinions concerning a wide variety of subjects. Unlike books and periodicals, websites are not reviewed by any outside source or publishing body and must be carefully reviewed to determine legitimacy.

Marriage and Family Therapy

American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy
The professional association for marriage and family therapists in the United States. Over 25,000 therapists are members. The AAMFT also accredits academic graduate programs in marriage and family therapy.
Nevada Division of American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists
Administration for Children and Families
Part of the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services, the ACF is a "federal agency funding state, territory, local, and tribal organizations to provide family assistance (welfare), child support, child care, Head Start, child welfare, and other programs relating to children and families."
National Council on Family Relations
"The premier professional association for the multidisciplinary understanding of families." This website contains a separate section on family counseling and therapy.
Association of Marital and Family Therapy Regulatory Boards
This site provides information on the regulation for becoming a licensed marriage and family therapist in each state.
