The sites listed below are better to use as they ae produced by the government or chemistry related organizations.

This website from the National Institutes of Health focuses on the toxins that are present in our everyday environment.
ATSDR Toxic Substances Portal
This website created by the Centers for Disease Control focuses on toxic substances. When using this resource, select Toxicology Profile after searching for your chemical. Keep in mind this website focuses on toxic substances and does not contain all chemicals.
National Institute for Occupational Safety & Health
This National Institute, sponsored by the Centers for Disease Control, provides information on a wide variety of chemicals via the Pocket Guide to Chemical Hazards and the International Chemical Safety Cards. Keep in mind not every chemical is listed here.
IPCS INCHEM
The website, produced in cooperation between the International Programme on Chemical Safety, World Health Organization, and Inter-Organization Programme on Sound Management of Chemicals states that it "provides rapid access to international peer reviewed information on chemicals commonly used throughout the world."
NIST Chemistry Webbook
Produced by the National Institute of Standards and Technology, this webbook provides the formula, chemical properties, and structure as well as additional information.

This website, hosted by the U.S. National Library of Medicine, searches numerous resources to provide information on the safety or toxicity of various chemicals.

A website providing information on a prescription drug formulas, uses, and side effects.
