Numerous databases, library catalogs,and other resources will provide a sample citation for a selected item. This is a very useful option but can also be a source of frustration.
Lincoln Christian University strongly advises students to exercise caution when utilizing these citations and to very carefully check that the citation matches the Turabian style as outlined in A Manual for Writers of Research Papers, Theses, and Dissertations and as outlined in this guide.
The final responsibility for an accurate citation rests on the shoulders of the individual student as the paper's author. Professors will not accept the excuse "That's what the computer said."

Given these concerns, some individuals may feel it is easier to edit the citation produced by a citation generator than to create their own citation.
In the library catalog and I-Share catalog, an option to Cite This appears above and below the item record.
Cite This provide an example citation.
Note: Citations provided for ebooks and electronic resources, such as audio sermons, will require significant modification.
A screen will appear listing a variety of citation styles. Scroll to the citation style of your choice.
Click on the quotation marks link from the tools menu which appears above the entry. A citation box will appear on the screen.
