Service Alert
Have you ever spent time creating the perfect search for your topic and wish you could save it for future use? Do you wish there was a way to easily stay current with the most recent publications or research in a particular journal or field? You can do all of these things using a Persistent Search, Search Alert, or Journal Alert! To do this you may have a My EBSCOhost account.
Any search result screen offers the option to create a persistent search in the upper right corner of the search results.
The Permalink may be copied and pasted into a word document, calendar, or another tool until you wish to run the search again.
To access a persistent search which has been added to your My EBSCOhost folder, log-in to your folder. Select Persistent Links to Searches under My Folder located to the left of the computer screen.
An Alert may be created from any Basic Search screen.
Any search result screen offers the option to create an alert in the upper right corner of the search results.

Advanced Alert Settings provides additional options.
To set up an alert for a specific journal, first Search by Publication for the journal title.
The upper right corner will display
Proceed with setting up an email or RSS alert as described under Alerts.
