CQ Researcher is a database which focuses on current events and social issues such as those which you are writing papers and giving speeches or presentations.  CQ Researcher publishes a new research report which examines both sides of various current events and social isssues each week.  CQ Research is a wonderful place to find background information and leads for further research.
